The TH Deggendorf invites you to the online Masterclass Doing Business in Latin America Masterclass: Introducing a multifaceted continent for first timers, that the Deggendorf Institute of Technology -THD is organizing together with the State of Bavaria Office for South America.
The future ahead requires a completely new model; the new economic cycle is important, and every country needs to acknowledge this context and that there is an urgent need of global alliances. Especially Latin American and European countries need to take this new order seriously and make it a priority topic in their policy agendas. Latin America can’t live without export markets; neither can it be only a raw material exporter. Therefore, global alliances are one of the most important issues for Latin American governments.
European governments on the other hand spend an important amount on financial instruments to foster competitiveness of European SME on international markets in order to strengthen regional development. Collaborative technological innovation projects, that address challenges of Latin American industries, can give European SME access to new markets and new business opportunities.
Thus, the State of Bavaria Office for South America focuses its work on technological innovation and global alliances to enhance regional competitiveness and sustainable development for both German and Latin American SME and Start-ups. The aim of this virtual class is not only to introduce the potential of Latin America, but also to present the projects that THD in Latin America and to invite you to the next international program with Chile Game Changers: Empowering Students for the Energy Transition.

Matserclass: Einführung in einen vielseitigen Kontinent für Einsteiger:innen
Ihr seid Firmenvertreter:innen, die bisher nicht oder kaum mit lateinamerikanischen Ländern zu tun hatten, interessuert Euch aber grundsätzlich für diese Länder bzw. auch geschäftliche Kollaborationen mit ihnen?
Dann ist die Einladung der Technischen Hochschule (TH) Deggendorf und der Bayerischen Repräsentanz für Südamerika genau das Richtige für Euch! Gemeinsam begrüßen sie Euch am Donnerstag, den 15.06.2023 zwischen 16 und 17:30 Uhr zur Veranstaltung "Doing Business in Latin America".
Die Zukunft erfordert ein völlig neues Modell; der neue Wirtschaftszyklus ist wichtig, und jedes Land muss diesen Kontext und die dringende Notwendigkeit globaler Allianzen anerkennen. Vor allem südamerikanische und europäische Länder müssen diese neue Ordnung ernst nehmen und sie zu einem vorrangigen Thema in ihrer politischen Agenda machen. Südamerika kann ohne Exportmärkte nicht leben, gleichzeitig kann es auch nicht "nur" ein Rohstoffexporteur sein. Entsprechend sind globale Allianzen daher eines der wichtigsten Themen für südamerikanische Regierungen.
Europäische Regierungen hingegen geben einen erheblichen Betrag für Finanzinstrumente aus, um die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit europäischer KMU auf den internationalen Märkten zu fördern und die regionale Entwicklung zu stärken. Gemeinsame Projekte zur technologischen Innovation, die sich mit den Herausforderungen der lateinamerikanischen Industrie befassen, können europäischen KMU Zugang zu neuen Märkten und neuen Geschäftsmöglichkeiten verschaffen.
Die Bayerische Vertretung in Südamerika konzentriert ihre Arbeit daher auf technologische Innovation und globale Allianzen zur Förderung der regionalen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und der nachhaltigen Entwicklung sowohl für deutsche als auch für lateinamerikanische KMU und Start-ups.
Ziel dieser Masterclass ist es nicht nur, das Potenzial Südamerikas vorzustellen, sondern auch die Projekte der THD in Südamerika zu präsentieren und Euch direkt zum nächsten internationalen Programm mit Chile Game Changers einzuladen: Empowering Students for the Energy Transition.
